A White, Bleeding Silence" explores a textural aural terrain much grittier than my previous recordings. Personally, I feel this record is an outgrowth of my interest in extreme forms of music and course aural surfaces. While still very listenable, this recording spawned from my experimentation with the wall of sound (noise) during my live performances. Artist Antonin Artaud, wrote about the bombardment of the senses and the theatre of cruelity where during live performance, all of the senses are used to create the complete/ total experience. It is in this spirit, that I approached A White, Bleeding Silence. Now the listener can bring their own experiences to fill in the blanks.
